Is your walk with God such that you are assured your place in Heaven? - Bruce Carter

Do you know God's plan for you? Do you know the way to Salvation? What are your plans for the future?

The answers to all these questions and more are found in one step by step manual for life, The Holy Bible.

Salvation*

John 3:16- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-13- that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Ephesians 2:8-10- For we are His workmanship, created in Jesus Christ for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Do you know that God loves you? He has proven it in more than one way, the most open expression of love is shown from John 3:16. It was mentioned above for salvation and bears repeating for the subject of God's love. God gave his only Son for you and for me, a Son that had no sin, became sin and died so that we may be saved. Being a father, there is no doubt in my mind that God loves me and you.

God's Love for You*

John 3:16- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1 Peter 1:18-19- knowing you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Revelations 1:5- and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood.

God's mercy is poured out among everyone. Sinner or saint, God pours out his love and mercy in hopes that you will repent from your sins and seek the face and glory of God. It is most evident in the following passages:

God's Mercy*

Romans 4:16- Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of all of us.

Romans 9:16- So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him that runs, but of God who shows mercy.

Titus 3:5- not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.
